Today’s Cotton Newsline is 2 cuts. All cuts are Dale Thompson, Manager of Marketing and Processing Technology for the National Cotton Council.
Suggested Introduction 1:
There has been a recent uptick in complaints to the National Cotton Council from both domestic and foreign textile manufacturers regarding the condition of some U.S. cotton bales. Cotton warehousers have the responsibility to repair or replace torn bale packaging and replace broken or missing bale ties prior to shipment. Dale Thompson, Manager of Marketing and Processing Technology for the Council, joins us with some helpful information about a guide the Council has developed for cotton warehousers to follow in order to prevent this problem in the future.
Suggested Introduction 2:
This time of year, there’s been a lot of traffic in the warehouse, according to Thompson.
